Ngondro, the preliminary or foundational practices of Vajrayana Buddhism, is a profound and powerful means of affecting transformation through purification and the vast accumulation of merit.

This Ngondro Retreat, April 4 -12, 2020 will be a multi-faceted intensive retreat for those wishing to start, resume or accomplish Ngondro. 

The first weekend will feature teachings by Acharya Sam Bercholz, senior student of Dungse Thinley Norbu Rinpoche, who personally authorized him to teach. Sam has called the weekend, Meditation and the Development of Faith: Essential Teachings from H.H. Dudjom Rinpoche and Thinley Norbu Rinpoche. The weekend will be a combination of teachings from Dungse Rinpoche’s The Cascading Waterfall Of Nectar and also HH Dudjom Rinpoche’s teachings on meditation from his The Play of Thoughts.

The remainder of the retreat will be led by Amy Green, senior student of Dungse Thinley Norbu Rinpoche and Drubpon Pema Rigdzin (Freddie Trancoso), and will include practical teachings on how to approach Ngondro meditation and accomplish the accumulations.
